Rats

I got up this morning and headed straight for the coffee as I do every morning. Usually, I stare out the kitchen window in a state of half sleep or denial while I come to terms with the reality of having to leave my bed. I take these few minutes to sort of plan out my day and today was no exception. Until...
I noticed that there was something on the pool hose, which was floating in the water... a big leaf perhaps? No. It was a RAT! Yes, 4 legged vermin - just hanging out in the pool. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me and called out for my roommate to confirm my discovery. To our dismay we concluded that indeed this rat was there, evidently stuck from being perched on this hose for an unknown period of time.
Now what?
